Christopher passed away on Friday, November 4, 2016. Christopher was a resident of Royal Oak, Michigan at the time of his passing. Christopher received an Associates Degree from Macomb Community College. He was married to Sylvia.

Christopher Fredrick Kole, age 65, of Royal Oak, passed away on November 4, 2016, at William Beaumont Hospital. He was born on August 4, 1951 in Detroit, Michigan to Fredrick and Margaret Kole, (formerly Kowalewski). Christopher graduated from Holy Redeemer High School, Detroit, received an Associates Degree from Macomb Community College, had worked as a Computer Data Entry Operator for several companies, and was happily retired. He and his wife Sylvia have been long time parishioners of the National Shrine of the Little Flower in Royal Oak.

Christopher is survived by his beloved wife Sylvia (Holubeck) Kole, who he married on October 17, 1975 at St. Suzanne Parish, Detroit. He was the eldest of three children, brother Kenneth (Christine) Kole and Andrea (Gerald) Murawski (deceased). He deeply cared for his in laws Gertrude and Joseph Holubeck, (deceased). Christopher heartily enjoyed his brother in law and sister in law Robert and Patricia Holubeck, his nieces Kelly (James) Holubeck-Gotts, Leah Doslea, Amber (James) Quesenberry and nephew Austin Fredrick Kole. Chris and Sylvia were blessed with Grand Nieces Ashleigh Holubeck-Gotts and Madelyn Quesenberry, and Grand Nephews Braden, Carson and Rowan Quesenberry. Chris was a very proud Godfather to Kelly, Austin, Ashleigh and Braden. Christopher leaves behind many loving cousins and friends, especially Elaine and Arnold Mackowiak and family.

Cooking, gardening and decorating were favorite past times of Christopher's. He loved classical music, and studied piano for many years. Chris and Sylvia traveled often, enjoying northern Michigan, especially Douglas Lake, Petoskey and Traverse City. They cherished the many pets that brought joy to their home through the years.

Memorial gathering at 9:30 am on Friday, November 18, with memorial mass to follow at 10:00 am at the Shrine of the Little Flower Basilica, 2100 W. 12 Mile Road, Royal Oak, 48073 (248) 541-4122
